(1) First and far most; always get to know the person you are interested in dating as much as possible prior to actually meeting him/her in person!

(2) On the first date meet during the day time hours.

(3) Set a time limit for no more than 30 minutes.

(4) Drive in separate vehicles.

(5) Always let a friend and/or family member know when and where you are going for you date.

(6) Always have something to talk about, keep the conversation going. No one likes the uncomfortable silence. And be interesting!

(8) Be confident yet showing a level of shyness.

(9) Always say thank you at the end of the date, and if you really had a good time don't be afraid to let him/her know.

(10) When your date takes you home, always exercise good judgment before asking him/her to come in.

(1) Do not pressure the person you are interested in dating to meet you in person when you first start exchanging e-mail. Get to know him/her as much as possible before mentioning meeting!

(2) Do not be rude, show some class. Always have manners!

(3) Never start with lying about anything. I guarantee you will be caught!

(4) Do not talk about your ex-lovers and/or your sexual experiences. (Unless asked and feel comfortable.)

(5) Do not talk about yourself too much unless you are being asked. That just makes you seem conceited.

(6) Never embarrass your date, you'll always lose points if you do.

(7) Definitely do not talk about getting married or having children on the first date or even the first few dates. That's a sure fire way to scare the guy away.

(8) Do not act immature. Present yourself as an adult.

(9) Do not talk about sex or sexual positions!

(10) When the date is at it's end do not tell your date you would like to see him/her again unless you honestly feel that way!
